Blog #16|: 2 Hour Meeting Answer #2

1. What is your essential Question?
How can an Anesthesiologist best treat Chronic Pain?

2. What is your second answer to your essential question?

It is important for a physician treating a patient with chronic pain to have detailed knowledge about the patient's medical background and history.

3. What are three details to support or justify your answer?

✔  anesthesiologist will be able to pinpoint cause of the pain

✔ anesthesiologist will then be able to work with the patient to plan an effective treatment plan.

✔  if an anesthesiologist tries to treat a patient without an overall knowledge of a patient's medical history, the treatments may be ineffective

4. what source helped you prove this answer is justified for your essential question?

Interview with Dr, Hirst from Riverside Community Hospital.

5. What do you plan to study next with your second answer & why?

I plan to study complications in chronic pain as a result of different health conditions. According to Dr. Hirst treatments can be altered or more complicated if the patient has bad medical history or health problems (for example, chronic diseases).
